What the chef does

One chef.
Three ways to eat.

Every job runs off the same kitchen, the same standards, and the same chef on site. Pick the format that fits the room — the food doesn't change.

For rooms with a guest list

Catering

Full-service catering for private and corporate events — menu built to your room, your budget, and your headcount, then cooked and served on site.

  • Weddings, receptions, and family celebrations
  • Corporate lunches, meetings, and staff appreciation
  • Church, community, and city events
  • Drop-off trays or full service with staff

For rooms with a crowd

The Truck

The Munchies To Go mobile kitchen rolls up, plugs in, and feeds the line. Street food done to a chef's standard — the fast stuff, cooked right.

  • Festivals, tournaments, and city activations
  • Block parties, graduations, and pop-ups
  • Job sites, employee lunches, and shift feeds
  • Burgers, dogs, pizza, loaded fries, sweets, cold drinks

For rooms of one table

Executive Chef

The chef himself, in your kitchen or in charge of yours. Private dining, dinner parties, and hands-on leadership for kitchens that need a professional at the pass.

  • Private dinners and in-home chef service
  • Menu development and recipe costing
  • Kitchen consulting, setup, and staff training
  • Interim or contract executive chef work

All three offered together — nothing here is a side business.

The mobile kitchen

It pulls up
and it feeds people.

The Munchies To Go trailer is a self-contained kitchen on a Michigan-registered rig — propane on board, cooked to order through the window, no venue kitchen required. Park it at the tournament, the festival, or the job site and the line moves.

Chef James Holmes · Owner & Executive Chef

The chef

Twenty years,
one standard.

James Holmes has spent two decades in professional kitchens, and Munchies To Go is what he built with them. Known around Detroit as Chef Snoop, he runs every service himself — the menu, the prep, the line, and the plate that reaches your guest.

The promise is short and he stands on it: the most savory, most tastiest food in the city. Big flavor, cooked properly, served hot, on time, and clean. Whether it's a wedding, a tournament crowd working through the truck window, or a private table of eight, the standard is the same one he's held for twenty years.

Munchies To Go is a licensed, insured Detroit business operating a permitted mobile kitchen and serving Metro Detroit and the surrounding counties. Chef Holmes holds a current ServSafe Food Protection Manager certification, accredited by ANSI and the Conference for Food Protection.
